Gianluca Allaria
I bring people together around what matters, and make it happen
People → Purpose → Reality
My work is finding what they need and making it real.
Building the partnerships
My work is finding what an organization needs a partnership, a platform, an audience and making it real. Across diplomacy, sustainability, culture and AI, through The Omen Collective.
The Peacemakers - Les Faiseurs de Paix.
Ceasefires, prisoner exchanges and humanitarian corridors are negotiated behind closed doors. Few people hear how it actually works.
What I did: Built the project with mediator Pierre Hazan, from the series to the newsletter to a conference at the Geneva Peace Forum. Directing and producing it, with Le Temps as media partner.
Partner: Le Temps · Geneva Peace Forum
Human Rights 75
The 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights had to reach people who never read a UN text.
What I did: Worked with OHCHR's head of communications to create the anniversary podcast, and wrote the content for the campaign.
Partner: OHCHR (UN Human Rights)
Tomorrowland - Fresh/ La Télé
Tomorrowland wanted Swiss festival-goers. What I did: Built the media partnership with Fresh and La Télé bringing Swiss listeners to the festival. Partner: Tomorrowland
EBU - Rudolstadt Festival
The EBU Folk Festival had been sliding for 38 years. What I did: Rebuilt the alliance and the funding : 22 countries now send a band every year. Partner: European Broadcasting Union
Net+ Leman Open
Wheelchair tennis players in the region had nowhere to compete at a serious level. As president of Tennis Club Cheserex-Gingins for six years, I found the sponsors and built the partnerships behind a tournament that gives them that, now run at national level for four years, more than 25 players every year.
One World Radio on DAB+
Tomorrowland had a radio brand with no presence in Switzerland. I launched One World Radio on DAB+, giving the festival a permanent broadcast presence in the country.
From Partnership to Finished Piece
Every project below started as a relationship before it became content, a partnership secured, a production run, and a result delivered.
The Geneva Connection
Built the podcast concept and format; produced the series. Partnership & Business Development: Built the partnership with Building Bridges that made this their flagship communications platform, an ongoing relationship.
Project Management: Managed production end-to-end, including securing and coordinating high-profile guests such as John Kerry, Lisa Sachs, André Hoffmann, and Jeffrey Sachs, delivering 250K+ listens/viewers
Kofi Time the podcast : Kofi Annan's legacy
Chose the guests, wrote the scripts, and shaped the format around Ahmad Fawzi revisiting Annan's crises.
Partnership & Business Development: Delivered for the Kofi Annan Foundation as the trusted producer of their flagship content, with a relationship built on being handed editorial control, not just a production brief. Project Management: Ran production across all 10 episodes, coordinating guest schedules including Christiane Amanpour, Mark Malloch-Brown and Peter Piot — 137,000+ views.

The Godmothers of AI
Godmothers of AI needed more than a podcast a full platform: a magazine, a salon, a podcast, and social content, all built to raise visibility for women shaping AI. As Creative Producer & Partnerships Lead, I lead outreach and partnerships across it, and have produced two flagship series so far — The Unseen, a 7-episode documentary on the history of women in tech, and Silicon Valley Diaries, following one woman's 12 weeks inside Y Combinator.
Commissions & Campaigns
One-off productions, each with its own partner and its own reason to exist, from a live festival stream to a crowdfunding campaign built with an inclusion foundation.
Alice Merton live
at Eurosonic
A public broadcaster needed to prove mobile-only coverage could work. I filmed and streamed the set live, mobile-only, 25K+ views on Facebook via Radio Sputnik and other public broadcasters.
Global Solutions: feat. HRH Princess Noor bint Asem of Jordan
A UN conference wanted mindfulness and human rights in the same conversation, not on separate tracks. I wrote the concept and the strategy behind it, shaped the interview questions and style, and then produced the highlight reel and interviews, including one with HRH Princess Noor bint Asem of Jordan.
Les Fruits Pimpants
A crowdfunding campaign uniting art, social inclusion, and sustainability: limited-edition juice cartons featuring original work by three artists with intellectual disabilities, supported by the Fovahm Foundation. I built the concept, coordinated the partnership between Opaline and the Fovahm workshops, and produced the campaign video.
Breathing Life into Centuries
Built the storytelling concept and film around the building's history.
Partnership & Business Development: Delivered for Sotheby's International Realty and Elitim jointly a dual-client commission.
Project Management: Ran the on-location shoot at Château de Cottens through to finished film.
Podcast Series
Same pattern, nine more times, each of these started as a concept and a partnership before it was ever recorded.
In The Space Between
International Film Festival Human Rights (FIFDH) wanted a podcast to bring their work to a wider audience. I built the concept and produced the series.
Sustainability in Action — ING Bank
ING Bank wanted real examples of sustainable finance in practice, not just policy talk. I built the format and produced the series.
One World, Zero Waste
UNECE and FAO wanted to make the circular economy tangible — energy, forests, food, fashion — for a general audience. I built the concept with Lily Cole as host, then produced the series.
Stories of the Circular Economy : Opaline
Opaline wanted to spotlight the people and ideas actually driving the circular economy in Switzerland. I built the concept and produced the series.
Climate change + Young
: OHCHR
The Human Rights office wanted young people's voices on climate change heard directly, not summarized by adults. I built the format and produced the series.
Women in Tech Leading the Way : ITU
ITU wanted to spotlight women actually leading in technology, not just being discussed as an underrepresented group. I built the concept and produced the series.
Coaching & Training
Where the method gets taught, not just applied.
EBU Academy
Public-service media professionals across Europe needed hands-on podcast skills, not theory. I led sessions on podcast production and audience growth as an invited expert trainer, across two masterclasses.
Benevolat Vaud
Swiss associations needed help finding and telling the story of their own cause, often with no media background at all. I taught them to build it through podcasting.
